Nissan & Nismo have got together and produced another very individual car.
The Nissan Leaf Nismo ‘RC’ – Racing Competition is a Zero Emission vehicle that’s ready to race in a zero emission race series.
Instead of the front-wheel driven drivetrain found on the production Leaf, the new Leaf Nismo RC uses a rear-wheel drive system, with the engine placed in front of the rear axle.
To continue with the environmentally friendly task, the wheels are lightweight forged RAYS VR.G2 in size 18 x 8.0 in stunning Matt Black with a low unsprung weight can add to the efficiency.
In early testing the Leaf RC reaches 62 mph in an impressive 6.85 seconds and a top speed of 93 miles per hour. It is expected to have a running time of around 20 minutes under racing conditions.
The electric drivetrain sits in a custom carbon fiber monocoque body. The three-piece bodywork includes removable front and rear sections, fixed windows, LED headlights and taillights and driver-adjustable rear wing.
