ARP, the world leader in fastener technology have recently developed a range of new stud kits, bolt kits and accessories for a range of applications including Volkswagen, Toyota, Ford, Mustang and Chevy.
Included in the range are the head stud kits and head bolt kits for 2000 and later Volkswagen/Audi 1.8L DOHC 20V turbo applications.
The head stud kit includes a set of ten, M10 ARP2000 head studs and ten 8740 chrome moly steel internal wrenching 12 point nuts. The head bolt kit includes a set of ten, M10 ARP2000 head bolts. Both kits are available with or without a 12 point installation tool.
All Pro Series ARP2000 bolts are cold forged to ensure molecular integrity and studs are centerless ground. Both are heat treated prior to thread rolling and machining and are nominally rated at 220,000 psi. These fasteners deliver a 40% increase in tensile strength over the OEM Torque to Yield (TTY) bolts.
