Co-ordSport are delighted to announce that we are now the single exclusive distribution partner for Cosworth aftermarket products in Europe. We are stocked and prepared to ensure that every Cosworth customer benefits from this change. Cosworth have released an official statement/update regarding this change, which can be found below.
“An update from Cosworth:
During the past 6 months our commercial team at Cosworth has been reviewing all aspects of our performance parts business, in order to understand how best to service our consumer and business customers. Our aim is to provide Cosworth performance aftermarket products through the most efficient and cost effective channels, so we can offer competitive prices and maximize availability. In deciding how to achieve this objective, our priority is for customers to be confident that they can obtain products as they need them and in the quantities they require – whether they are end-consumers or businesses.As a result of the review process we have decided that it is not sustainable for Cosworth to continue to supply our many dealers and distributors directly. The costs involved in operating this network have prevented us from improving pricing and product availability and enforced unrealistic order commitments onto some of our business customers.
In order to address this situation we took the decision to appoint a single distribution partner to provide access to Cosworth products in Europe. This partner must provide truly excellent customer service and support our product development team in creating new power package and component products. This enables Cosworth to focus on designing and manufacturing great products and our distribution partner to focus on making every customer happy.
We have been searching for the right partner to cover the European market for a number of months, considering factors such as business size, operational capability and geographic reach. After careful consideration we are pleased to announce that Co-ordSport Ltd have been appointed as our exclusive distribution partner for Europe.
