JapFest Silverstone 2024

Doesn’t time fly …. It hardly seems like a year ago that we were putting up the Co-ordSport stands for Japfest 2023.

Japfest is a red-letter day in the Co-ordSport calendar. We honestly love the event and look forward to it coming around each year. Japanese car culture is solidly in our Co-ordSport DNA and an important part of our 35+ year heritage. For us it represents a uniquely special opportunity to meet our customers face to face, talk about parts, special deals, solving issues, as well as general car chit-chat.

It is fantastic to see those Japfest loyalists again who we meet at the show year on year as well as welcoming those guys who are new to Co-ordSport and to Japfest.

Here we are again 7th April 2024, at Silverstone with the Co-ordSport team and 2 van loads of market leading brands ready for our JDM customers.

It was a (extremely) early start, definitely not your average Sunday and this year, with the unpredictable weather and high winds, we were safely undercover in the pit garages. As always, we take the opportunity to max out our presence …. three stands displaying a huge offering of market leading brands … HKS, Cusco, Tein, Kaaz, Competition Clutch, Turbosmart, Quaife to name but a few. Manned by a Co-ordSport team who are always enthusiastic and vastly experienced…. Paul, Simon, Shaun and Mark.

Most popular car for product requests would be for the MX5 … particularly Mk3 … with Whiteline sway bars being the high on the must have lists. Closely followed by HKS Super Power Flow Green and Red filters. And the ever popular Turbosmart Boost Gauges continue to attract significant levels of interest.

3500 show cars and 20,000 visitors , by 5pm it felt like we had had at least a conversation with most …from stock to high power builds, from racers to track day enthusiasts.

So too quickly, that’s it for another year … what a fantastic day ! Roll on 2025 !
